The second virtual EATiP Forum in a series of webinars related to aquaculture topics of high importance for the sector was held on 26 November 2020. Organised in collaboration with AQUAEXCEL2020, the event was highly successful with over 150 participants throughout Europe joining the event. Short talks about innovations to support fish welfare were combined with Q&A sessions and surveys on the expected impact of the different solutions.
Two AQUAEXCEL2020 TNA project outputs were presented:
1. Novel sensors to measure distributed flow in aquaculture sea cages, presented by Asko Ristolainen /Tallinn University of Technology
2. Improving Atlantic salmon feeding process efficiency with the Smart System for Feeding Control (SICA), presented by Rosa Martínez Álvarez-Castellanos / CTN-Marine Technology Centre
